About products

CCC is a multi-generational cattle operation that has now spanned into it’s 4th generation. We’ve never chased fads in the beef industry but rather just stayed true to producing highly functional cattle that bring value at multiple levels.

We are known for producing high quality Black Angus cattle with genetic diversification from western U.S. herds.

We actually have both depending on what our customers are wanting at the point of purchase.

We have a history of taking care of our customers, our cattle will add value to the buyer’s herd and you know we’re going to stand behind what we sell. In performance tests, our cattle have consistently scored at the very top of peer groups for average daily gains.

General

We are a midwestern cattle operation providing direct sales of beef to customers for food or herd sires and replacement females for cattle producers looking to improve their genetics.

We started in 1945, so this is our 79th year.

Yes, by appointment. We can show you some of the operation as it relates to your purchasing interest.

We sell to a diverse set of buyers across the midwest. For years, much of our beef has ended up in west coast homes on dinner plates.

We do guarantee our bulls to breed. If not, bring them back and we’ll either replace or refund your money.

Absolutely no hormones are used and extremely limited usage of antibiotics.

We have a double vaccination program, robust mineral system, shelter from the weather and always an ample supply of fresh clean water and feed.  These combine to give cattle the best opportunity for a healthy life.

We use artificial insemination and embryonic transplants with a timed breeding system.

The assignment or designation of each head of cattle will determine the lifespan living on the ranch.  Some female cows are here for 14-15 years.

Both. Our cattle are multi-generational purebred, registered Black Angus cattle. We do have a few beautiful commercial cattle that are on the ranch as well for some of our research projects.

Depending on the customer’s needs, we can incorporate transportation.

We commonly assist customers with special orders and we look at each deal independently to assess how we can best help the customer achieve their goals.

This varies and often with the market supply and demand as well as the genetic basis being considered in the purchase.
